We really need to ask what is music about
“(…) In terms of its evolutionary significance, Stephen Pinker, for instance, as a theorist of cognition, believes that music has no evolutionary meaning. He actually calls it auditory cheesecake. And yet, he thinks it’s one of the great human mysteries because every culture we know or have known of had some form of music. There’s obviously something significant about this, but on an evolutionary level he thinks there’s no real imperative. It’s just something that exists and is a rather extraordinary mystery because of that. I don’t think that’s true. I think that there really is a direct evolutionary imperative. Music is the vehicle through which we explore our auditory structural coupling to the external world.”

Estou de acordo que a música é algo de extraordinário que existe por si só…
Penso também que, tal como nós, a música também sofreu uma evolução. Agora se a evolução do Homem é directamente proporcional à evolução da música isso já é algo que nos leva a pensar duas vezes!
Talvez o desenvolvimento do nosso cérebro tenha feito com que o Homem eventualmente tenha transformado a música.
Este é um assunto sobre o qual apenas podemos apresentar hipóteses, talvez um dia nos apresentem uma tese!
É, Trequita, não consigo, neste particular, eleger uma destas opções.
É certo que nada é imutável no tempo, mas também não é escorreito que as diversas formas de ser e estar, no tempo, tenham mutações e desenvolvimentos paralelos e muito menos análogos.
